
Jason A. Brown
Associate
Jason is an associate with Black McCuskey and focuses his practice in the areas of real estate development, business law and banking & finance.
While attending The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Jason worked as a law clerk for a law firm. Additionally, he was Staff Editor for the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution. He participated in the Oxford University Moritz College of Law summer program where he studied comparative law subjects including responsibility, dispute resolution, and criminal sentencing. Jason also worked in the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic where he assisted tech startups in their infancy stages which focused on entity formation, ownership and control agreements, and protecting intellectual property. He was a summer associate at Black McCuskey in 2019.
Prior to law school, Jason attended The University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting, graduating summa cum laude. During this time, he worked as a tax intern at an accounting firm.
Jason resides in Canton and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Stark County Bar Association. He is a member of MENSA. Additionally, Jason is a board member of Whole Latte Love Cafe. He attends St. John’s Anglican Church in North Canton and is a member of the C.S. Lewis Institute of Northeast Ohio.
