Tim Fox is an associate with Black McCuskey Souers & Arbaugh, LPA and focuses his practice in the areas of general litigation, collections, labor & employment, construction, and landlord/tenant law. Before joining Black McCuskey, Tim was a judicial extern for the Honorable Herman J. Weber of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Tim was on the Moot Court Honor Board and was recognized for the Best Brief Award in 2005, placing second overall in a national competition. He also served as the Executive Officer for the University’s Tenant Information Project and as a board member of the Honor Council. In recognition of his academic achievement, as well as his written and oral advocacy skills, he was inducted into the Order of the Barristers.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Tim enjoyed a 21-year career in the United State Air Force where he retired at the highest enlisted rank, Chief Master Sergeant. During that time, he was the lead analyst at a fighter wing in Spain, he managed the Air Force Research Laboratory’s contractual services branch in Massachusetts, and led the Aircraft Maintenance Data Analysis Branch at a research and development wing in Florida. He has received numerous decorations for his leadership and commitment to the local community. While in law school, he clerked for the Cincinnati civil litigation firm Montgomery, Rennie & Jonson.

Tim is a Board Member of the Tuscarawas County Law Library and a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Stark and Tuscarawas County Bar Associations. He is a Board Member of the Dragonfly Academy and a member of the United States Air Force Chief’s Group, the Rotary Club of Canton, and the Pet Welfare Animal Shelter. In addition, Tim volunteers his time to the Southeastern Ohio Legal Services organization which provides legal services, without attorney fees, to people with low income and limited savings and assets.
